Charlotte is a qualified Acupuncturist and doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and believes that the ancient art of acupuncture found her at the perfect point of her journey. Prior to Acupuncture, Charlotte worked in the hair industry for 9 years. She discovered that her passion existed in her connection with her clients and her ability to hold space for them and offer guidance where needed. Her time in this industry also highlighted the importance of prioritising her own holistic health and wellbeing, and felt called to explore a career in the health field.
Charlotte’s approach to practice is centred in the connection between the physical, psychological/emotional and spiritual bodies. She endeavours to hold an open, empathetic, non-judgemental and compassionate space for her patients to share, heal, learn and grow. Charlotte believes that TCM has the ability to recognise and treat all aspects of the human being and that it offers a space where true healing can occur.
Charlotte has a particular interest in woman’s health including hormones, fertility, pregnancy and pre/post-natal, especially after being mentored by Dr Bree. She also loves gastro-intestinal health issues and imbalances and has always had a strong interest in the field of mental health, in particular anxiety related disorders.
Charlotte is registered with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency), CMBA (Chinese Medicine Board of Australia), and a member of AACMA (Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association).
