Yoga

Yoga is the union of mind, body and soul. It’s path is explored through practices that aim to refine the body and mind, increase energy flow (Prana), and in turn encourage us to live a more conscious life.

As a holistic practice, yoga incorporates mind, body and breath to shift us into a seat of  witness awareness, emotional intelligence and a calmer quality of mind. The Ancient Indian practice also has profound benefits on the physical body, and can be used as an effective pain management tool on it’s own, strengthening and increasing mobility, or alongside other modalities.

Our yoga instructor teaches gentle Traditional Hatha yoga practices such as Asana (postures), Pranayama (breathwork) and Yoga Nidra (Yogic Sleep). Your state of mind and body are considered, to provide a sequence suitable to you, with the ultimate aim of balancing the physical and subtle energy bodies.
